Please not another remake!!!

Source: Bloody Disgusting by: Omar Aviles

Surprise, surprise, there's another horror remake in the works. Don't tell me you didn't see this one coming. The folks over at Bloody Disgusting are reporting that the previously mentioned sequel POLTERGEIST: KAYERI is being retooled into a straight-up near frame-for-frame remake of the seminal 1982 Steven Spielberg-written and Tobe Hooper-directed film. The film originally told the story of a family who are initially amused then slowly terrorized by a swarm of ghosts in their house and it seems like that's just about what we can expect from this remake. The original was also more than just a haunted house tale - it was a really goddamn scary haunted house tale that took you in directions you never expected at all. Let's hope they at least do that justice. What do you guys think?

Casino Royale owns!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Today i had the chance to see the new James Bond movie Casino Royale and it was really great. We see the birth of James Bond as a 007 agent and sent to a mission to track a multimillionaire who finances bank accounts to international terrorists. And the only way to battle it is playing a poker game. The movie has great action scenes and without the nesecity of the well famous spy gadgets developed by Q makes the movie more realistic instead of a futuristic spy tech look. And finally actor Daniel Craig has given a good perfromance as the new 007 that doesn't need to be compared to other past actors who played James Bond like Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan. One of the best movies of 2006.

Raivotar by Poisonblack

Queen of the damned the bitch of Hades... the serpent
Sixes tripled in her flesh
Lobotomize my thoughs, my mind... unleash me
Bring forth the perfect sin I crave

Escape from you to to stay alive
Escape from you... the liar
Yet i crawl to you to feel alive
I crawl for same desire

And once again...
She is dancing on my grave
Whipping shivers down my spine
She is dancing on my grave
Pouring down the mercy of death

Queen of the tease the hot and cold... voracious
So deadly and deceiving eyes
Lobotomize my thoughs, my mind... release me
Bring forth the perfect death i crave

I feel you're coming once again

It only happens in Macondo!

Another remake of The Thing, what the fuck?

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Source:
Variety
by: Mike Sampson

Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment (DAWN OF THE DEAD) are remaking John Carpenter's classic horror flick THE THING and have signed "Battlestar Galactica" producer Ronald D. Moore to write the script. The original film, which starred Kurt Russell, Keith David and oatmeal pitchman Wilford Brimley, takes place in Antarctica where a shape-shifting alien organism has wreaked havoc. The movie, and to a lesser degree its predecessor THE THING FROM ANOTHER PLANET, are based on the story "Who Goes There?" by John W. Campbell, Jr. The producers of this remake say they are aiming for this film to be more of a "companion piece" than a remake, which to me sounds just like BS semantics. It is what it is folks. Just like the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING wasn't really much of a prequel at all. Carpenter is no doubt smarting from the atrocious remake of THE FOG. Another one of his classics, HALLOWEEN, is currently getting the remake treatment at Dimension courtesy of Rob Zombie.

After i got out of school heading home my aunt told me the great news that my mother has given birth. I was so excited until she told me it was a boy. Suddenly i felt upset because i wanted a sister and not another brother. So today is my brother's birthday. Happy b-day bro!

New album from The Haunted!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Swedish thrash metal band The Haunted has released their new album entitled The Dead Eye. The album sounds heavy but i noted a slight difference in their songs. Now it sounds half melodic, not like other albums like revolver, one kill wonder and made me do it. I don't want to think they might change their style like other metal bands like In Flames. Anyway the new album is one of the best albums of the year. Here are the whole tracks.

01. The Premonition
02. The Flood
03. The Medication
04. The Drowning
05. The Reflection
06. The Prosecution
07. The Fallout
08. The Medusa
09. The Shifter
10. The Cynic
11. The Failure
12. The Stain
13. The Guilt Trip

Cover of Dean Koontz's upcoming novel!

Dean Koontz's Frankenstein book 3 and also the final novel of the trilogy. Coming next year.

In some other news...

Whiplash for the republicans have earned at the past elections. Looks like american voters got sick and fucking tired about president Bush's lame excuses of the Iraq war. And the democrats sing victory and looks like they might be victorious for the next presidential elections in 2008 and speaking of the republicans defeat, Secretary of Defense Donald Rummsfield anounce that he will resign. The elephants are whining!

And finally looks like the anime movie Blood:The Last vampire will be adapted into a live action movie directed by Ronny Yu, director of Fearless and Freddy vs. Jason. Above info taken from joblo.com

Source: The Hollywood Reporter by: Ammon Gilbert

I'm a huge fan of director Ronny Yu's work, as I had blast with BRIDE OF CHUCKY, and FREDDY VS. JASON managed to do justice to both franchises, a task which wasn't as easy as it looked. So when I heard he was behind the live-action remake of BLOOD VAMPIRE, I practically pooped myself!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, South Korean star Jun Ji-hyun has been signed as the title role Saya, who's a vampire employed by the U.S. government to hunt demons in post-World War II Japan. Very frickin' cool stuff, if you ask me. With a budget around $30 Million, I can only imagine all the crazy awesome shite that will go down. I haven't seen the original anime flick, but as they're making it live-action, I can only assume that's because it's that f*ckin' good.

BLOOD VAMPIRE is currently in preproduction, and is scheduled to start shooting in China and Argentina this March, with plans for a 2008 release. Kick Ass.

It's about a female bestseller author which gives details of her upcoming novel dealing about supernatural encounters. But after meeting with a friend and an old flame, her life begins to enter into another realm where the dead and her dark secrets collide. This is Pang Brothers's best movie since The Eye.
